I am so excited to welcome you! Here’s what you can expect to make your experience as relaxing and enjoyable as possible:

A Warm Welcome
As you arrive at Old Barn Beauty, you’ll be greeted with a friendly smile and a calming atmosphere. The salon is designed to help you unwind from the moment you step through the door.

Consultation
Before your first treatment begins, I’ll take a few minutes to chat with you about your needs, preferences, and any relevant medical or skin history and a thorough consulation form will need to be completed. This helps us tailor your treatment to suit you perfectly and ensure that the treatment is able to go ahead and that there are no contraindications which will prevent treatment.  

If you're having a tint, lash lift, or waxing treatment, please ensure you've had a patch test at least 48 hours prior.

Contraindications

Some contraindications will prevent a treatment taking place, whilst others may restrict. Please ensure that all health conditions, medical history, medications, infections & health concerns are divulged on your consultation form.  If you have a specific health concern, we advise consulting with your Doctor prior to going ahead. Subject to the outcome of the consultation,  GP consent may also be required prior to treatment.

Your Treatment
Whether it’s a facial, massage, manicure, or waxing, I will guide you through the process and ensure you’re comfortable every step of the way. I use high-quality products and techniques to deliver visible results and a truly relaxing experience.

Aftercare & Advice
Aftercare advice will be provided following your treatment.  It is your responsibility to follow this advice to ensure the best results and avoid adverse reactions.

To Support Your Recovery:
- Drink plenty of water to help flush out toxins
- Avoid alcohol and caffeine for at least 24 hours
- Refrain from strenuous activity or heavy exercise
- Shower before your massage, but avoid showering immediately after to allow oils to absorb into the skin
- Avoid heavy meals before and after your treatment
- Do not apply perfumes, aftershave, or lotions prior to your massage or treatment.
- Massage can also release stored emotions.  Feeling emotional afterwards is completely
normal and part of the healing process.

Payment & Rebooking
You can pay by cash or bank transfer, and if you’d like to rebook your next appointment, I’ll be happy to arrange that before you leave.

Cancellation & Deposit Policy
At Old Barn Beauty, I understand that life can be unpredictable, and plans may need to change. To help manage the diary and offer appointments to other clients, I kindly ask that you review the following policy:

Deposits
To secure your booking, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. This will be deducted from the total cost of your treatment on the day.

Standard Appointments: £10 deposit
Longer or Specialist Treatments: £20 deposit (depending on the service)

Cancellations & Rescheduling
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your
appointment.

If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice, your deposit may be forfeited.

Missed appointments without notice (no-shows) will be charged the full cost of the treatment.
